FAQ

The following are frequently asked questions:

    1. Select the items you would like to checkout
    2. Pick your rental duration, pickup date/time, return time (return date will be based on duration selected), and desired quantity
    3. Add items to cart
    4. When ready,  proceed to checkout by clicking on the cart icon
    5. Login using your email and password
      1. If you do not have an account, click sign up at this point
      2. Sign up using your ACC student email account
      3. Under “Account Type” select “Private”
      4. Review the Terms & Conditions and click the "I accept Terms & Conditions" box
      5. Click "Sign Up"
      6. You will receive an email to confirm your account. When you click the confirmation in the email, you will be directed to the Checkout site to log into your account.
    6. Specify the course and professor for whom you’re renting equipment
    7. Include any reservation notes if needed (e.g., extensions)
    8. Accept the Terms and Agreements
    9. Complete checkout
    10. Receive a confirmation email

  • To create an account, you must first go through the checkout process.

    To do so: 

    1. Select the items you would like to checkout, your rental duration, pickup date/time, return time (return date will be based on duration selected), and desired quantity
    2. If you don’t already have an account, you will be prompted to sign up
    3. Provide your name, your ACC email, and password. Select “Private” for Account Type and accept the Terms & Agreements.  Then follow onscreen instructions to verify your account.

    1. Yes! However, please note that you must select a minimum reservation period of 4 days, as equipment check-ins are not possible on weekends. For example, if you try to checkout on Friday for a 2-day reservation, it will not let you because the return date falls on the weekend.

    2. When you select a 1 Week duration for your reservation, Booqable automatically selects the same day in the following week (ex. Mon to Mon).  However, if you want to check out for an actual 7 day week (ex. Tues till the following Mon), you need to select the 7 day duration option.

    3. Use the "Classes" tab to quickly navigate to commonly used items in each RTF class. These categories include Audio & Announcing, Directing, Producing & Portfolio, Field Production, Editing, & TV11, FSP, Practicum, Interactive, and Podcast.

      • If you think you need a reservation for longer than 1 week, when checking out, add a Reservation Note indicating your desired reservation length and why you need an extension. If the equipment manager approves your request, he will manually change your Return Date, and you should receive a new confirmation email with updated dates.
      • If you’ve already checked out, and you later realize you want an extension, email the equipment manager ([email protected]). If approved, he will change your Return Date.

    4. Yes! You have the flexibility to select a future date when the item becomes available by adjusting the rental duration, pickup, and return dates. If you're unsure about a product's availability, simply click on the "Check Availability" link next to the "Add to Cart" button to view its availability status for specific days - whether it's fully available, available for part of the day, or unavailable. You can also adjust the quantity to see the available quantity of the product.

    5. You can set the Pickup date a week in advance. A day before your reservation begins, you should receive an email reminding you to pick up your gear.

    6. Please make your reservation at least 24hrs in advance of when you want to pick up your equipment.

      Making a reservation the same day you want to pick up is STRONGLY DISCOURAGED.  The equipment manager needs enough time to approve and prepare your reservation.

    7. Yes! For the following scenarios, the dates are greyed out. However, you can still return equipment on those dates for these reservation periods. This is a known issue with the Booqable website. Please ignore it when making reservations.

      • Return on Friday for 2 day reservations
      • Return on Thursday and Friday for 3 day reservatuion
      • Return on Thursday for 4 day reservation
      • Return on Tuesday for 5 day reservation
